Who this policy covers
This policy describes how B2B Marketplace, based in Beirut, handles information about registered businesses, their authorised users, and the suppliers invited to sell on the marketplace. It applies to the website, the mobile application, and the owner desk. It does not apply to a private arrangement a buyer and a supplier make outside an order placed here.
Information a business provides
To open an account we ask for the legal name of the business, a registration or tax number, the name of the person who will sign in, a work email, a Lebanon phone number, and the registered address. During verification we keep the registration certificate or the tax certificate that you upload. A supplier account also keeps the catalog, prices, and the areas in Lebanon where that supplier delivers.
Information created by using the service
When you place an order we keep the supplier, the lines, the quantities, the prices confirmed at checkout, the cash total, the delivery place, and any note for the driver. We keep the status of the order, a claim if you open one, and the commission recorded when the order is completed. Saved places, entrance photos, and voice notes are stored so the supplier can find the entrance. Support messages are stored with the conversation they belong to.
How the information is used
We use this information to approve a business, to show the catalog, to pass an order to the right supplier, to calculate commission owed to the marketplace, and to answer a support conversation. Product photos are shown to buyers. Entrance photos and voice notes are shown to the supplier fulfilling that order and to marketplace staff who can view the order. We do not use the information to build an advertising profile, and we do not sell it.
Who can see it
A buyer sees its own business, places, orders, and conversations. A supplier sees the orders placed with it, including the delivery details needed to fulfil them, and does not see another supplier’s catalog or another buyer’s account. Marketplace staff can see an account only to operate the service, review a verification, settle commission, or reply to a conversation. The owner desk is in English and is not a public page.
How long it is kept
Account and order records are kept for as long as the business remains on the marketplace and for the period needed to settle commission and answer a claim. A resolved conversation remains available so the thread can be read later. You may correct your business details from the account screen. You can close the account there too. Sign-in ends and personal details are removed. Orders already placed stay so they can be delivered and settled.
Security
Sign-in requires a password and a confirmed authenticator. Session tokens on this phone are stored in the device’s secure storage. Documents, entrance photos, and voice notes are not published as open files. No method of storage is perfect. If you believe an account has been used without authority, change the password from Security and write to support.
